I have owned a iPod powerStick for a few years now and wanted to
send you a short letter about your product. I travel by air quite a
lot and watch movies on my Gen5 video iPod. My wife and I went to
Mexico 2 weeks ago and we were amazed on how long the power will
last on the powerStick. I plug in my powerStick as soon as I turn my
movie and watched about 3 hrs. of video on the way down and a few
hrs of music. In our room we watched a movie each night using a RCA
adapter plugged into the TV for a total of 7 days (10 hrs of video)
and listened to music about 4 hrs per day and finally the green
light started to flash and my 2500 AA rechargeable batteries we
finally dead. It was amazing how long they lasted. I recharged them,
stayed another 3 days and used it on the way home and still had a
full charge on my iPod. I have purchased one for my Wife and all 3
of my grown daughters and recommended it to many of my friends. I
just wanted you to know how happy all of us are with the powerStick.
It is the best accessory I own for my iPod. |

Thought I would give kudos to the powerStick. I opted to buy rechargeable AA NiMH 2300 mAH batteries from Maha Energy instead of using regular “Energizer” AA alkaline batteries.
To say that the powerStick is a winner is an understatement! So far, my iPod photo 60GB has been playing continuously for 27.5 hours on the powerStick. The iPod battery icon shows fully charged (with the AC plug inside the icon) and has been that way since I turned it on yesterday. The powerStick will also charge the iPod (if necessary).
If you’re looking for an external power source for you iPod (i.e. for those loooooonnnnnnggggg flights or for that trek through the Amazon), I highly recommend the powerStick. Way to go ezGear.
